What equipment is required for fitting cleats?

By means of hot air heating: CFM 

  • Cleats up to 50 mm high
  • Only cleats with a foot
  • Rectangular ropes and V-guides (as a cleat)
  • No fabric reinforced cleats

By means of RF (radio frequency) heating: HFP or HFO + fitting mould 

  • Cleats up to 100 mm high
  • Cleats with or without a foot
  • Fabric reinforced cleats
  • Rectangular ropes and V-guides (as a cleat)
  • Only plastics, which can be heated by means of RF energy; e.g. PVC and PU
